Description
Upper Mustang, a mini Tibet, combines nature, landscapes, rich culture, and history. Lo-manthang, the walled city, founded in 1380, is the trek’s highlight, surrounded by ancient Buddhist monasteries, caves, and museums. The region boasts numerous monasteries, chortens, mani walls, and caves, showcasing a rich cultural heritage. Muktinath Temple, at 3,800 meters, holds spiritual significance for Hindus and Buddhists, offering a holy spot with 108 stone taps. Kagbeni, a medieval village on the Kali Gandaki River, features mud houses, chortens, and stunning views of Nilgiri peak and the gorge, the world’s deepest canyon.

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel -

Sightseeing, Baudhanath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. -

Drive to Dhampus (1900m) -

Drive to Kagbeni (2810m). Gateway to upper Mustang. -

Drive to Mustang ( Lhomanthang) (3810m) -

Explore around Lhomanthang (3810m) Chhsar Cave (4660m) and Tibetan boarder. -

Drive back to Jomsom (2700m)/ Marpha. Visit to Marpha Apple Brandy Distillery. -

Drive to Pokhara (850m). On the way you can relax in natural hot spring (Tatopani) -

Visit Shiva Temple, David’s Fall, International Museum. Drive to Bandipur. -

Drive back to Kathmandu. On the way you can visit Nepal’s first Cable Car. -

Sightseeing, Bhaktapur and Patan. Farewell dinner with cultural program. -

Departure to home.
